Contents Pushed to Phone?

I was wondering if the contents are pushed to the phone like the BB Curve. Where if you get new mail, it pops up, or like I seen LG Tritan has myspace and facebook.... if you get new comments etc, is it pushed to the phone where it tells you, or do you have to keep checking facebook, myspace etc?

I also was wondering is there MSN messenger, AIM messenger and Yahoo Messenger... on the phone?

I bought the phone, now just paciently waiting for it to arrive in the mail, so trying to get as much information soaked in before it arrives.

Been searching YouTube for alot of interesting video's.... but none of them really on messenger or contents inside...

You can set the mobile email app. to Yahoo for sure, I know there are other email accts you can set up in mobile mail, not sure what they all are though.
And it can be set up to notify you of new mail, I have it set up w/Yahoo, works great.
I don't use Face book or My space, can't help Ya there.
This is for a us cellular phone btw, not sure about alltel.

I've noticed alot of people have the US Cellular Lg Tritan than Alltel,... but I don't have an USCC plan.. lol But I don't think there's much of a difference other than carriers.... Wink

I won't know til the LG Tritan from Alltel shows up at my door Tongue

so pretty excited about that! Hopefully it was well worth the $$!

Where did you find the messenger applications? I've got a USCellular Tritan and I can't find the apps in Easyedge. What I'm really looking for is a Jabber client that I can use for google talk. Does one exist?

Open the slider, push on easy edge, mobile shop,catalog, free stuff, should have the mobile messenger setup.

when i hit free stuff it says no items were found.

Same here. I called USCellular and they had me upgrade the phone (Dial *228). That didn't work.

My free stuff is empty right now also, it used to have the mobile email app in there, after I downloaded it, it says it is empty.
I guess we have to wait for more free stuff.
Make sure your easy edge isn't blocked, mine was and I couldn't get to any apps, free or otherwise.
