I am an Alltel customer and I have had for nothing but a Motorola Razr for years and years.
It's old, tired looking now and I was thinking about getting a new phone.

I do not want another silly cheap flip phone, I was looking at some used Tritans on ebay and haven't been able to find a straight answer out of searching around for the last couple of hours.

Currently I simply have some talk time and unlimited text.

That is mainly all I am looking for in a phone, I never call anyone, strictly texting. Can I activate a used Tritan on my current plan?

Another feature I'd like since I'm getting a "cool looking newer phone" is wifi, not ALLTEL WIFI that you have to pay for etc, I simply mean connecting to the router right next to me, or at work to browse the internet.

If not, whatever, I can use wifi on my ZuneHD, just looking for some answers.

Thanks in advance.

The Tritan does NOT have Wifi- in any form or fashion.

Alltel required me to sign a contract on an $89/month plan including 450 minutes and unlimited texting/messaging and internet data. The required plans may change based on your location or if you don't actually buy the phone from Alltel. You'd have to call customer service or go to a store (if the local techs actually know anything) to find out for sure what they require when activating certain phones.
