Thanks in advance to anyone who can finally help me with this. I used the LG chat support and they were clueless.

I use AOL and have for years. I can recieve and send emails via my phone with no problem.....EXCEPT:

I HAVE to use the "plain text editor". If I click on "rich text editor", it takes me to the "rich" screen and just like on the PC, it has where you can use a different style of text, bold, italic, size change.....ets....you guys know what I mean. Only problem is it will NOT advance to the message screen so I can begin typing. It will for "plain", but not the "rich". Make sense?

What is the problem? LG has no clue(but they told me I needed a smartphone for that, and that mine is not a smartphone) Is this true? US Cellular is nohelp and AOL says, "it's not aol". So nobody is stepping to the plate for this one? Gee big 3....thanks.

Anyone?

So I have stumped even the unstumpable? Weird! Well folks, LG has sent my letter to the engineers but as expected, I have heard NOTHING. US Cellular provided NO help at all because they are clueless. So the people that made the phone can't answer the question....wow. LG has dropped the ball. I am returning this phone and NOT buying an LG. I should have known!

An update for anyone concerned with LG customer service and knowledge of their product. Even the engineers refuse to admit they are strumped and can't figure out their own mess. They have FAILED to even respond, which leads one to think they offer half assed service and really don't care much for clients. The Tritan was a good phone that didn't quite "make it". Poorly built and flimsy, no customer service worth a nickel, with too much eye candy that does not even work.....it's just a phone and company primed to fail. It was the last LG product I will ever buy.....or return.

i've always liked lg more than most. i picked this phone over the cheap, flimsy, plastic pearl flip.

i tried to figure out the rich text. i could click it and it said it worked or switched. but, never did give me the text i wanted. oh well.. plain old emails for me.
