Does the tritan view books downloaded from a work site. My work has a book I must have it is in pdf format. How do I get my phone to do this

Supposedly the Tritan views documents.  I have tried .docx, .doc, and  .pdf (In the My-Documents folder) with no success.

Mine is Alltel branded. I don't know if it's carrier specific, if I put them in the wrong folder, or if my handset will not read documents.
