I saw this app called shop savvy on tv and was wondering if I can use it on my lg tritan. My friend has one on his HTC PRO, its really neat. Is there a way to add this application or any others to my phone?

I am sure there are ways to add applications but you need to look at the fact that you will not find the same apps for the Tritan as you would the HTC Pro

Tritan = BREW
HTC Pro = Windows Mobile 6.1

Alot of the Brew games and such are just jar files but still no way to get them on the phone as of yet to install them like on the LG Vu it has an option the veiw the file system on the Mem card like you would windows so you can install them on it. Need to figure out how to mod that for the Tritan and we would be all good.

ok using bitpim i can get into the filesystem on the phone under the lgvx9700 setting and i can see files ending in a .bat .swf .ico .mif .bod .blf

i just download the app mobitv from easyedge and i found it in the filesysyem in bitpim

The only apps that one can install on this phone are those obtained through BREW.
The only way to download them is by enabling internet on your phone.
Unfortunately you cannot find out what is available until you pay for internet.
After you download one there is a one time fee that varies and a monthly fee that also varies.

Selection varies depending on carrier.
