I just got the LG Tritan for Alltel service.
God I'm really hating Alltel.
The Tritan phone hardware seems pretty good, but the software is too simple and locked down.
Maybe I should have gotten the Touch Pro..? Even though its slow and buggy (Windows Mobile based, lol)

I've tried to put my own ringtones on the phone using the method I found here:

No dice. The files are there, but do not show up as ringtones.
I've tried tethering to my laptop. No go again. Still a ! on LGE CDMA USB MODEM. That might be Windows 7 though.

Also, on my old Sony-Ericsson for T Mobile, I could put ringtones, JAVA games, and anything else I wanted on the phone using the memory card, Bluetooth, or the Sony PC Suite.
I can add images and full songs to this phone only........
Anyway, I like the basic design of the phone, but could really do without Alltel.
