So I created a small clip from a song using Audacity to use as my text alert and got it onto my phone but when it's set as the audio for my alerts it doesn't play, I get the default US Cellular sound.  It's in mp3 format, does it need to be in a different format?  It plays just fine on the phone just not when it's set as my text alert sound.

Its the phones software version. you probley have V04 you need V05 you will have to take it in to a repair store so they can upgrade the software on it

I have software version V03, and alltel refuses to upgrade it and its the same story with all the repairshops i went to, they out right refuse to upgrade my tritan.. is there any way i can upgrade it myself?!
