Using Ringtones from another phone

My girlfriend's phone has an mp3 trimmer, so I copied the ringtone files from her phone and put them in my Audios folder, hoping that I would be able to access them, but I can't figure out a way to apply them to my contacts.

If someone could please let me know which folder I should put them in to be able to use them, I would be very appreciative.

I have so far figured out how to move the files from my card to my phone... but it only puts it in my music files for listening, not for use as a ringtone.

Make sure the mp3 file is in My_Audios, which is on your card. From the main menu of your phone, go to multimedia/my stuff/audios. Choose the file you want and select move. Move to phone and it will give you the option to save as ringtone.
